Pastoral experience

The road walked

Each pastorate served, in order, with what the ministry there brought about.

  1. 2015-2016

    C.S.I. Kolathupalayam Pastorate - Dharapuram D.C.C.

    Candidate for Ministry

    1. When I was serving there, I initiated and encouraged the youth of my pastorate to participate in a Short Film Competition organized by the Diocesan Youth Movement at the Diocesan Level and by God's grace they won the first prize. 2. Taught new Church Hymnals and Keerthanai songs to the congregation. They learned to sing those new songs for the first time. 3. Under the guidance and with the support of our PC & DCC Chairman Rev. Dr. S. Samuel Rajadurai (Our Present Bishop), Myself joined with a team of youth, took an initiative to telecast the movie about Jesus' life to the people in and around the villages and in some pastorates of Dharapuram DCC, during the Lenten Season.

  2. 2020 - 2021

    C.S.I. St. Peter's Church Pastorate, Nagapattinam - Thanjavur D.C.C.

    Deacon

    While I was serving as a Deacon at St. Peter's Church Pastorate, Nagapattinam under the Supervision of PC & DCC Chairman Rev. D. Manavalan, I was given charge of the youth to start a project named "Good Samaritan". As a team along with the youth, I helped to build the house for an aged woman who was living in a small hut that was damaged due to heavy rainfall during the cyclone.

  3. 2021 - 2024

    C.S.I. Sholayar Nagar Pastorate - Anamalai D.C.C.

    Assistant Presbyter

    1. With the encouragement of our PC & DCC Chairman Rev. Paul Sundarsingh, I Initiated a Monthly Bible Quiz Competition at the Pastorate level to encourage in-depth learning of the Bible. The portions were announced in advance to help them prepare with interest and prizes were given to motivate them. 2. Encouraged the migrants, especially the Women from West Bengal to actively participate in all the worship services and to conduct the Praise and Worship monthly once at CSI Christ Church, Shaekalmudi Estate, Valparai. 3. As announcement made by our Diocese through the Department of Child Care, I encouraged the youth of CSI Christ Church, Malakkapara Estate (Kerala - which comes under Sholayar Nagar Pastorate), to come forward and support for a child. They too with interest accepted and sponsored a child as a foster parent through Diocesan Fostership Scheme (DFS).

  4. 2024 - 2026

    C.S.I. Gudimangalam Pastorate - Udumalpet D.C.C.

    Assistant Presbyter

    1. As per the request of the members of St. Paul's Church, Gudimangalam Paver Block were laid covering the entire church compound under my suggestions, guidance and supervision of the P.C. Chairman Rev. S. Anandan, with the generous contribution and active involvement of the congregation. On the occasion of its 15th Anniversary, a Thanks Giving Service was conducted where our DCC Chairman Rev. P. Selvaraj blessed the newly laid stones for the use of the congregation. 2. Encouraged and initiated the Men's Fellowship of St. Paul's Church, Gudimangalam to start a Village Outreach Ministry within the pastorate region. On the last Sunday evening of every month, we as the Men's Fellowship visited those villages. 3. While serving here at Gudimangalam Pastorate, also as a citizen of India, in order to show our patriotism & respect for our country, I initiated and encouraged the congregation to hoist the National Flag at St. John's Church, Karupattipalayam on 15th August 2025 before the commencement of the Special Prayer organized on the same day. I feel happy that they continue to follow the same practice as citizens of India with the same dedication and interest till now. 4. In association with the IMS Team Tirunelveli, we organized a "Gospel Program" in our pastorate at Gudimangalam. Members from our Pastorate Villages were invited to attend and were encouraged to dedicate themselves to the ministerial work by hearing God's Word, watching skits and other such programs.

  5. 2026 - till now

    C.S.I. St. John's Cathedral - Tiruchirapalli D.C.C.

    Presbyter

    Since June 2026 serving as Presbyter at St. John's Cathedral under the supervision and guidance of PC & DCC Chairman Rev. S. Sudharsan, the Women's Fellowship and Youth Conference at DCC level were conducted successfully and for God's glory.
